Time Lapse

I love finding messages in the simplest things. I found a time lapse video by: Anthem Film Studio that blessed me and I had to share it with you

I love looking at the sky. I call it God’s Daily Creative Work of Art. It reminds me that He still is… When we look at the clouds and watch them on a minute by minute basis, we see the clouds moving very slowly. There are days where it seems like nothing is happening, the clouds are just siting there. When we look at life on a minute to minute basis, sometimes it looks like the clouds, like things are moving very slowly and for some of us it seems like there is nothing going on, like things are not moving at all. We ask the question “why aren’t things happening for me”, or we say to ourselves “I keep trying and trying and I’m just not getting anywhere” and we quit. We don’t realize that our lives are constantly being shaped and formed into a beautiful piece of art. Our lives are masterpieces right out of heaven. We have to learn to celebrate God’s handy work even when we can’t see what He’s doing in us.

I recommend that we sit down, do a self assessment and view the time-lapse over our lives. We’ll see that God had great things in mind when he created us. I find it funny that we only seem to take notice of the cloud formation when a storm is brewing. We notice that the clouds are moving faster. Something is happening and it’s happening fast. Not knowing that God is always at work in us. When a storm is brewing in your life, respond to it properly and know that the storm also plays a major part in God’s creative work of art in your life.

This video reminded me not to respond only to the storms in my life, but to celebrate the little victories along the way to the BIG victory. Remember, even when it seems as if nothing is happening. God is still doing amazing work in our lives.

My favorite scripture: Romans 8:28: and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Enjoy the video!!
